"My mom and I booked our 12 day safari trip with Kenya Walking Survivors Safari and literally had the worst experience dealing with the travel agency ever. The safari itself was fine thanks to our knowledgable guide. However the owner of KWSS - Otieno Lysaniash is such a DISHONEST man that the payment he promised to refund 20 days ago still hasn't come through to our bank account. And he refused to refund us cash when he knew that we're coming to his office to pick up the money.
In addition, Otieno kept switching our lodging from the original higher-end ones to the budget ones without any explanation.It didn't just happen to us, we heard form other travellers, particularly those from China, also encountered the same issues with KWSS.
If you are planning for a multiple days trip, I'd highly urge you to avoid this operator because you don't know where you will end up sleeping at. And your paid activity might be cancelled out of the blue and you never get your refund back, like in our case."
