Virgin Balloon Flights was launched in 1987. All passengers are flown in Virgin red and white branded balloons as shown on some of our web pages. All sales and passenger enquiries are handled by a professional call centre facility based in Telford. We operate the largest fleet of balloons in the UK. Hot Air Balloon Flights UK We operate the largest passenger carrying balloon in the UK. All Virgin Balloon Flight Personnel are trained to the highest standard as all our pilots hold full UK Commercial Pilot's Licences. All Virgin Balloons Flights are operated under a Civil Aviation Authority Air Operators Certificate to fly fee paying passengers.

Can anybody fly in a balloon? We ask that a responsible adult accompany passengers aged 7-15. All passengers should be at least 4'6" in height so that they can see over the edge of the basket. There is no maximum age limit, although you'll need to be agile enough to climb into the basket and stand for one hour. We cannot carry passengers who are suffering from a serious medical condition, or who have recently undergone surgery or who are pregnant. Please ask the call centre staff if in doubt.
