International Environmental Distinction - Creta Maris Convention & Golf Resort

Hersonissos, 25 May 2009 - This distinction is an addition to a series of international environmental awards that Creta Maris Convention & Golf Resort distracted from big tour operators over the years. Specifically, the luxury resort was awarded for its environmental policy with the distinction of «TUI Umwelt Champion» by TUI, who ranks the best 100 hotels worldwide within its associates. It should be noticed that for the evaluation TUI was based on studies of environmental policy and protection of its associated hotels at any destination, as well as the assessment of clients staying at the hotels, concerning the environmental activities occurred during their stay, thru a questionnaire. To conclude, the distinction of TUI Umwelt Champion is also a confirmation of the emphasis given on the environment and the environmentally-friendly policy practiced by the administration of the Creta Maris Convention & Golf Resort.
