Day 1
- 2 economy return flights on Druk Air (Bangkok-Paro-Bangkok) Departs early am daily.
- Arrive early morning at the luxurious 5***** Zhiwa Ling Hotel (“The Place of Peace”)
- Upon entering the Hotel enjoy a locally prepared “apple cocktail” and hot towel
- Upon arrival you will be met by hotel staff and receive your “Khaddar” – traditional silk scarf.
- Your luggage, in the meantime is whisked away to your Junior Suite.
- Enjoy a leisurely lunch on the Lingka Patio overlooking the wonderful scenery of Paro
- Spend the rest of the afternoon with your privately chauffeured vehicle exploring the quaint
Village of Paro – shopping for souvenirs or simply enjoying the sights and sounds.
- Dinner that evening is a wonderfully prepared traditional feast of local delights.
- Spend the rest of the evening sipping our signature cocktails in the “MAD MONK’s BAR”

Day 2
- After a wonderful night’s sleep in your king-sized bed enjoy a late breakfast in the garden.
- Then it’s off to one of Bhutan’s’ most unique sights – “The Tigers Nest” – locally known as
The Taktsang Monastery – truly a sight to behold and one of the world’s most sought after
Unique sights to visit.
Taking with you a packed lunch and your personal guide.
- Arrive back after lunch and spend the afternoon at leisure – why not try one of our signature
Spa treatments or better still – indulge in a Traditional stone Bath for 2.
- Try your hand at the traditional game of Garden Khuru (Darts) or the National sport of Archery
in our Amphitheatre.
- Or feel free to make use of our Fitness Centre / Steam and Sauna Room – after all – it is
complimentary to you and awaiting your usage.
- Meet the Management in our Mad Monks Cocktail & Coffee Bar for a pre-dinner cocktail - - and shortly thereafter be personally driven into the village of Paro for a Traditional Home
Styled and Cooked Meal and spend some time being a “local”.
- Then it’s back to the hotel for a nite-cap before a leisurely rest.

Day 3
- Start your day off with a full buffet breakfast in one of our restaurants.
- Your guide will then take you on a half day tour of Paro – visiting the local Tzong (Provincial
Government Offices) – The Paro Museum and the fantastic and mind inspiring 450 year old
KITCHU TEMPLE.
- Enjoy light refreshments during the tour in one of our fine Bistros in the town.
- Then it’s back to your “Place of Peace” where you will be entertained and thrilled by the staff
in showing you how to prepare and enjoy our local Bhutanese “BUTTER TEA” in the exclusive
Tea Room/Library of the Hotel.
- Spend the afternoon exploring the interior of the hotel with one of our staff and scope out our
many local art pieces consisting of many many pictures of the past and present Royal Family /
priceless artifacts that have been donated to the Hotel / Visit our in-house pottery and
ceramic factory / visit our fly fishing lures factory / enjoy time in our meditation room /
visit our green house and vegetable gardens.
We have 2 shrines with a resident lay-monk on the 2nd floor of the hotel that is well worth a
visit - (maybe organize a blessing for a safe journey home?)
- Or just sit back and relax whilst enjoying one of our many home-made pastries with a GREAT
imported coffee in our Coffee & Cocktail Bar.
- Your farewell candle-lit dinner this evening will prove to be “unforgettable”
dine – just the 2 of you – amongst the treasures of the hotel on our 1st floor.
Dinner will include a glass of complimentary house wine and a “farewell photo”

Day 4
After breakfast it’s a fond farewell and Tashi-Delek (Thank-you) from the Hotel staff
Your personal driver and guide will ensure that you along with your luggage arrive safely at the airport for your 10am flight home.
