Live music and evening entertainment is plentiful on the Island with terrific local talent ranging from rock to reggae. Down at Maggies Beachhouse on a Sunday afternoon between 5.00 p.m. and 8.00p.m., you can relax and listen to the laid back ''Island style'' tunes or if rock is more your scene, then head down the Arcadia''s Island tavern on a Friday or Saturday night. Also 8.00 p.m. every Wednesday night the world famous Bufonidaes (cane toads) races are held at the Island Tavern.
