A prestigious horse racing event, attracting a top field of horses, along with a ''fashions on the field'' competition. It is one of the largest events in the region with the Town Plate run on Thursday and the Gold Cup run on Friday. Over $30,000 in prizes will be on offer for the various horse races over the two days. Around $5,000 in prizes for fashions on the field.
