Set in a turquoise sea, the five islands of the remote Lizard Island Group National Park are part of the Great Barrier Reef World Heritage Area. Lizard, the main island, has several idyllic, sheltered, sandy beaches with easy access to picturesque coral and clam gardens. Snorkel in the sheltered, shallow waters of Watsons Bay. Following in the footsteps of the famous explorer, climb to Cook’s Look, 395 metres, or walk to the Blue Lagoon on the other side of the island.
