Incorporated in 1948, Zambian Airways was a part of Zambia Consolidated Copper Mines (ZCCM) which was later privatized and given its current trading name. this airlines based in Lusaka the capital city of Zambia. Zambian Airways was a scheduled airline based in Lusaka operating an extensive domestic route network within Zambia as well as international flights to South Africa, Tanzania and DR Congo Zambian Airways flights. Zambian Airways ceased flying 12th January 2009.
