The Jockey Club maintains a storied place in Washington, D.C.ís history, having hosted some of the most iconic figures of our time. The restaurant that was born to accommodate JFKís inaugural entourage became one of the first seen-and-be-seen places to dine when the District was still a sleepy Southern outpost of the culinary cultured. Nestled in Embassy Row, the Jockey Club catered to the likes of Jackie Kennedy and other notable names of the era, and after a multimillion dollar renovation in 2008, the Club continues to be the stomping ground of social and political bigwigs like Hillary Clinton and Gen.
